As per an official Press Release, Amazon will be hiring over 15,000 employees throughout Canada.
Recently, Amazon announced its commitment to taking in 15,000 additional employees – part-time as well as full-time – across Canada and increasing wages of the employees.

Both part-time as well as full-time employees to be hired. Frontline employees to receive $17.00/hour to $21.65/hour, along with comprehensive benefits, right from Day 1 with Amazon. Additionally, regardless of their tenure with the company, full- and part-time employees will be receiving an extra $1.60 - $2.20 per hour. |
The new jobs announced by Amazon Canada will be for warehouse and distribution positions in communities all over the country.
Earlier, Amazon had announced the hiring of 1,800 tech corporate and tech employees in Canada for supporting Alexa, AWA, Amazon advertising, as well as retail and operations technology teams in Toronto and Vancouver.
