The BC PNP draw was conducted on August 11, 2022, and invited 175 candidates under various streams.

The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program has sent Invitations to Apply (ITAs) are sent to the candidates who are in the registration pool of applications, to submit an application to the province's program.
The ITAs sent now are based on the details that are provided in registrations.
This information detail that is provided in the registrations is used to rank, select and welcome the applicants whose skills can be matched to meet the needs of British Columbia’s economic and labor market.
The invitations are sent to support the British Columbia government’s priorities to support certain business sectors, encourage provincial immigration, and facilitate planned projects strategically.
The ITAs that are sent for all the categories will be processed within the set time by the BC government.

Categories that need invitations
We issue invitations to registrants in the following categories:
- Skilled Worker
- International Graduate
- Entry Level and Semi-Skilled
- Entrepreneur Immigration – Base Category
- Entrepreneur Immigration – Regional Pilot
The international Post-Graduate and health authorities candidates can apply directly as they do not need any invitation to apply (ITA).

Skills Immigration invitations
Based on the following factors of skills immigration categories, the invitations are targeted to the immigrants.
- Education – level and field of education and where it was completed
- Language skills
- Occupation
- Duration and skill level of work experience
- Wage and/or skill level of job offer
- Intent to live, work and settle in a specific region
- Strategic priorities – factors that address specific labour market needs in B.C. or support government pilot projects and initiatives.
