Canadian permanent residence through the provincial route is a 2-step process. A provincial nomination must be secured as the first step of the process. After securing a PNP Nomination, the Nomination Certificate can be used to apply for Canada PR to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
A PNP nomination is worth 600 CRS points for an IRCC Express Entry candidate. Here, by CRS is implied the Comprehensive Ranking System used to rank profiles on the basis of a 1,200-point matrix.
With the latest round of invitations, the BC PNP has issued more than 10,428 ITAs in 2021 so far. |
