Highlights: Express Entry Draws issued 37,559 ITAs in the first quarter of 2023.

  • The Express Entry Draws held in the first quarter of 2023 have witnessed a massive spike in the number of ITAs issued.
  • 37,559 ITAs were issued within the first three months of 2023.
  • Three record-breaking All-program draws were held in Q1 that sent 7000 invites, respectively.
  • The first quarter of 2023 also witnessed the first draw that focused on candidates for Federal Skilled Workers.

Express Entry: 2021 vs. 2022

Express Entry Draw 2021 

  • The first quarter of 2021 saw a record of 44,124 ITAs that the Express Entry Draws issued.
  • A never-seen-before number of ITAs of 27,332 were issued in a single Express Entry draw with a minimum CRS score of 75.

Express Entry Draw 2022 

The first quarter of 2022 had seen the lowest record of 6,470 ITAs issued to the Express Entry candidates who were also PNP candidates.

Canada Draws in Q1, 2023

All program Draws 

  • The Express Entry programs FSTP, FSWP & CEC are considered for the All-program Draw.
  • The minimum CRS scores for the All-program Draws were visibly low in the first quarter of 2023.
  • The lowest score set for the Draws in Q1 was 481.

PNP Draws 

  • The PNP nominee allotments are set to increase for the year 2023.
  • 105,500 is the immigration target set by the top 10 Canadian provinces for 2023 as Ottawa plans to alter its PNP guidelines to facilitate eligible candidates easily.
