Canada leads among the most-accepting countries for a migrant.
With an especially high demand for IT workers across the country, Canada is also one of the Top 3 countries for immigration post COVID-19.
In the month of June 2021, there were a total of 4 Express Entry draws held by the federal government of Canada through Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada [IRCC].
The Express Entry induction target for 2021 is that of 108,500 as per the 2021-2023 Immigration Levels Plan.
With 88,715 invitations to apply by June-end, Canada appears to be all set to meet, and in all probability even exceed, the Express Entry target for 2021.

A total of 4 federal Express Entry draws were held this month.
Of these, while 2 invited those with previous Canadian experience, the other 2 draws invited those with a nomination under the Provincial Nominee Program [PNP].
No all-program draws were held this month.
As has been more the norm than the exception in view of the COVID-19 pandemic, the federal government of Canada has been focusing on candidates with a higher likelihood of already being within Canada as against those applying from overseas.
Candidates, that is, eligible for the Canadian Experience Class [CEC] or with a nomination under the PNP.
A PNP nomination – through any of Express Entry linked PNP streams – is worth 600 CRS points in itself, thereby guaranteeing an Invitation to Apply [ITA] by IRCC.
Applying for Canadian permanent residence through the Express Entry system is by invitation-only.
It is the highest-ranked, as per the 1,200-points awarded on the Comprehensive Ranking System, that are invited to apply.
Not all IRCC Express Entry profiles are invited to apply.
