- Provide required information and provide advisory on appropriate blasting and drilling methods for mining, construction, or destruction procedures too.
- Must design and provide shafts, haulage systems, supporting systems, mine services, and ventilation systems.
- Design, improve and implement computer-related applications like mine designing, mine modeling, and mapping or surveying mine conditions.
- Prepare the project estimations and the operations, along with schedules and reports.
- Prepare a plan, design, or chose and select mining equipment, machinery, mineral treatment machinery, and tools and equipment in collaboration with the other engineering specialists.
- Execute, organize and manage the mine development, and mine structures. Also mine operation and mine maintenance.
- Implementation and coordination between mine safety programs.
- The candidate needs to take care of the supervision and coordination of the work done by technicians, survey personnel, technologists, scientists, and other engineers.
