Dubai airports are set to revolutionize the way immigration process works. People with disabilities will no longer have to wait in queues to get their immigration check done. A novel concept will soon be a part of Dubai airports' immigration process - "immigration buggies."
Passengers with disabilities travelling to Dubai can take immigration buggies and have their immigration done while on their way to collect their luggage from luggage reclaim hall.
The buggies will be the new immigration desks - with an officer on one side and two disabled passengers on the other. The officer will take note of all the documents and complete the processing on the go.
Dubai authorities are looking forward to introduce this for selected passengers and hope for cooperation from airlines that transit 1000s of people to UAE every single day.
