VFS Global Doha, will now be processing all the Canadian visas. Operated under Mannai Corporation, the new CVAC (Canadian Visa Application Centre) will be operational on the 3rd floor of the Jaidah Square Building at Al Matar Street on Airport Road.
VFS Global or the new CVAC will process:
- Temporary resident applications such as work, study permits and visitor visas
- Travel document applications from permanent resident Canadians in Qatar
- Will schedule interviews on behalf of the Canadian embassy
This change could provide lot of succor to the Abu Dhabi residents who would be saved from the hassle of travelling to Abu Dhabi to apply for travel document applications or temp. resident applications.
Like any other outsourcing company, the CVAC too will have no role on the outcome of the applications as the Immigration officers of the Citizenship and Immigration Canada will be the sole authority in approving or rejecting applications.
Business hours of VFS Global- 9am -5pm, Sunday to Thursday
Collection of passports- 3pm – 5pm
