Is there a Salary relaxation for the Skilled Worker visa compared to the earlier Tier 2 visa?

The salary requirement has been reduced from GBP 30,500 to GBP 25,600. Or the applicant has to meet the specific salary requirement for the occupation or the ‘going rate’.
