A Brazil tourist visa is extendable for another 90 days. A request for the same will have to be made to the Brazilian Federal Police. However, the total stay in Brazil allowed must not exceed 180 days in every 12-month period.
You must submit an application for a visa extension to the Brazilian Federal Police’s local office (DPF). The application must be submitted at least two weeks before your visa expires, but no earlier than one month.
