Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA)-exempt workers are eligible for two-week processing of their application for a work permit if they satisfy all of the given requirements:
- They have to submit an application from outside Canada
- Their job belongs to skill level A (professional) or skill type 0 (managerial) of the National Occupational Classification (NOC).
- Beginning November 16, 2022, NOC 2021 Training, Education, Experience and Requirements (TEER) 0 will be revised from NOC 2016 skill type 0 and NOC skill level A will be revised to TEER 1.
