Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been taking every step to improve trade and business relationship with neighboring countries. During the recent SAARC Summit, he announced a 3 - 5 years business visa for nationals of SAARC countries.
The Summit held in Nepal this year in November had leaders of 8 SAARC Nations - Afghanistan, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Maldives, and Bhutan.
While addressing the world leaders PM Modi said, "India will now give business visa for 3-5 years for SAARC. Let’s make it even easier for our businesses through a SAARC Business Traveller Card.”
PM Modi said that India is ready to share its National Knowledge Network once ready with countries in South Asia and urged that the growth and prosperity in all SAARC nations should be same as India in the future.
