New PRs spiked in the first two months of 2023
As per the latest data from IRCC, in January and February 2023, Canadian immigration saw an increase of about 40 percent compared to the same period last year.

Projection of new PRs by the end of 2023
With this pace, the number of new permanent residents should reach 602,580 by the end of 2023. As per Ottawa’s 2023-2025 Immigration Levels Plan, the province has planned 465,000 new PRs by 2023, 485,000 new PRs by 2024, and 500,000 new PRs by 2025.
