No job offer or sponsor to apply under UK Young Professionals Scheme
The UK has introduced a new scheme to invite eligible Indians to live and work in Britain, UK for 2 years. Candidates having the age between 18 and 30 years will be invited under the Young Professionals Scheme. The scheme will invite 3,000 candidates per year.
Submission of interest
Candidates who are eligible under the Young Professionals Scheme have to submit their interest between February 28 and March 20, 2023. Candidates will be selected randomly and successful ones will be invited to apply for a visa.
Young Professionals Scheme, a reciprocal program
The UK Young Professional Scheme is a reciprocal program in which British citizens will also be allowed to migrate to India to live and work.

Eligibility criteria for the Young Professionals Scheme
The candidates have to fulfill the eligibility criteria to apply under this scheme. The conditions are listed below:
- Candidates have to receive invitations to apply
- Applications have to be submitted within the time mentioned in the invitation to apply
- A unique application number for the invitation to apply has to be provided
- A local police certificate or police clearance certificate has to be provided which should not be more than 6 months old
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree or above
Proof of educational qualification
The following proofs are needed for educational qualifications:
- A qualification copy
- A written confirmation letter from the educational institution mentioning that candidates have completed their studies
Youth Mobility Scheme
Young Professionals Scheme is a part of the Youth Mobility Scheme which works under tier system. The number of applicants from different countries who can send applications directly for a visa is mentioned in the table below:
