  • Candidates who received letter of interest on December 20, 2022, can participate in the Nova Scotia Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Immigration pilot
  • If candidates receive a job offer from Nova Scotia employers, they can apply through Nova Scotia Provincial Nominee Program or Atlantic Immigration Program
  • Applications have to be sent under the Skilled Worker stream of Nova Scotia PNP

Nova Scotia ECE issued invitations on December 20, 2022

Candidates having a letter of interest can participate in the Nova Scotia Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Immigration pilot. Candidates having a job offer can apply through:

  • Nova Scotia Nominee Program Skilled Worker stream
  • Atlantic Immigration Program

Atlantic Immigration Program

Atlantic Immigration Program helps employers in recruiting skilled workers and international graduates to meet the challenge of shortage of workers. The eligibility criteria of the program are as follows:

  • Job offer from an employer who is designated under the program
  • Valid passport
  • Legal status in the country of residence
  • Canada high school diploma or its equivalent
  • Language proficiency of CLB 5
  • Reference letter showing experience of one year in the field of Early Childhood Development
  • Intention to settle in Nova Scotia

Nova Scotia Nominee Program

Nova Scotia also helps employers in recruiting foreign workers along with international students who graduated recently. Employers are allowed to hire foreign workers for those positions for which they are unable to find a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident. Here are the eligibility criteria for NSNP:

  • Job offer from an employer in Nova Scotia
  • Valid passport
  • Legal status in the country of residence
  • Secondary school graduation proof
  • Reference letter showing experience of one year in the field of Early Childhood Development
  • Intention to settle in Nova Scotia
