Ontario issues 1,034 Canada Immigration NOIs

In a new draw from Ontario, 1,034 Notifications of Interest for Canada immigration in the biggest draw conducted in 2022. The draw has been issued under Skilled Trades Stream of Express Entry. The draw was conducted on April 26, 2022 in which the Comprehensive Ranking Score ranges from 300 to 461 points.

Candidates had to submit their Express Entry profiles in the federal pool within 12 months before the issuance of the draw.

Skilled Trades Stream under Express Entry

The Skills Trades Stream under Express Entry is used to target skilled workers in civil construction and agricultural sectors. There are chances that expansion of the sectors can also be done in future.

How to qualify for Skills Trades Stream?

Here are the things which applicants need to qualify for the Skills Trades Stream:

• The candidates should have applications pending in the Federal Express Entry system
• The candidates should have a continuous work experience of one year in the past two years
• The candidates should have an Ontario license if it is required for their occupation
• The candidates should have a valid work permit, and they should also be the resident in Ontario when they send their application
• They should have the English or French language ability of CLB level 5. In speaking, reading, writing, and listening
• Proof of settlement of funds should be available to provide the expenses for dependents
