Saskatchewan gives importance to three factors for selection with candidates who have the same score in the stream of Immigration Entrepreneur. The three factors are:
- Proficiency in English or French
- A plan for crucial economic sectors

Process of Immigration Entrepreneur
The immigration Entrepreneur stream of SINP consists of three steps:
- Submission of Expression of interest
- If selected, Invitation to Apply is issued
- Nomination
Requirements of Immigration Entrepreneur
The eligibility requirements of the immigration entrepreneur are given as follows:
- The legally acquired net worth should be at least $500,000
- At least 3 years of management or entrepreneurial experience
- Investment of a minimum of $300,000 in Regina or Saskatoon, or $200,000 for other regions of Saskatchewan.
The applicants are included in a pool of candidates. They are awarded points and are ranked in the CRS or Comprehensive Ranking System. The candidates who score as much or above the cut-off score are issued ITAs.

Components of the Application
The applications for the stream should include:
- A Business Establishment Plan stating the financial figures in the expression of interest. The applicant should own at least 1/3rd of the company in Saskatchewan if the investment is $1 million or more.
- Active in the day-to-day function of the business.
- Generating two or more jobs for citizens or PRs of Canada if the business is situated in Saskatoon or Regina.
