The type of permission, validity, and duration of the sponsor’s visa all influence the probability of an extension. You may be able to renew the US permission if the sponsor has an extension or a long-term permit. You must apply to the USCIS (United States Citizenship and Immigration Services) before your existing visa expires in order to do so. The success of your application, however, will be determined by a number of variables, including your intent, immigration status, and so on. You’ll also need to submit all of the documentation you supplied for the original visa.
