Canada’s Global Talent Stream allows employers in the country to achieve through their Labour Market Benefit Plan “Increase Diversity in the Workplace.”
Workers are qualified for Global Talent Stream’s Category A if they have been referred to it by one of the designated partners of the Stream if they are recruiting an individual with niche talent.
Do remember that if an occupation applied for is included on the Global Talent Occupations List, it will undergo a Category B application processing and would need to be fulfilling Category B requirements.
You may qualify for the Global Talent Stream’s Category B if you are looking to recruit proficient foreign workers to plug vacancies in in-demand occupations that are listed on the Global Talent Occupations List. Eligibility for Category B would not need a referral.
Processing fee
You need to pay CAD1,000 for each position applied for under the Global Talent Stream to compensate for the expenses of processing your application.
