The amidst of corona pandemic has led to the growth in healthcare sector which led to many of the job vacancies. Along with this many other sectors such as  construction and finance, insurance and real estate industries are also on upswing.

There are many vacancies in housing construction, because Canadian government has committed to spend  $1.2 billion on capital projects has boosted the vacancies. The jobs in housing market are boosting by 5 percent every year.

“Manufacturing activity has also impressed, with sales up 15 per cent year-to-date, lifted by shipments of plastic and rubber products. This suggests that the tire manufacturing industry has held firm, despite weak automotive production,” state the economists.

Rising economic activity in Nova Scotia

The economic activities were raised in 2021, as the province loosened its public health restrictions, re-opened its borders, the advent of vaccine passports and increase in number of immigrants helped the province to resume back to its normal state.
