Good news for Canadians willing to travel the U.S.
The U.S. reopens its borders for fully vaccinated travelers from Canada starting from November 2021.
It reopens its border to non-essential travel from Canada starting in November. Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas declared that fully vaccinated travelers from Canada and Mexico could enter the country from land and seaports of entry.

The U.S. reopens its border in two phases.
Phase 1:
In November, fully vaccinated travelers can enter the U.S. by land or ferry if they can present the proof of vaccination. Travelers who are not fully vaccinated for COVID-19 are not allowed to cross the border.
Phase 2:
In early January 2022, the second phase in the U.S. will begin allowing all essential and non-essential travelers to be fully vaccinated in order to cross the land or sea border. These travelers includes truckers, students, and healthcare workers.
There are no exact dates when these new rules will be implemented and goes into effect.
Congressman Brian Higgins, has applauded this move. He is advocating for the border to reopen from long-time.
