On occasion of Independence Day celebrations USA includes many programs to welcome new citizens in the fiscal year 2022-23, through the naturalizations ceremonies. During the week of July 1-8, the US will welcome 6,600 new citizens.

The fiscal year of 2022 will end on September 30. In this fiscal year, the US has welcomed 661,500 new citizens. According to the statistics, 197,000 individuals became the US citizens in the first quarter of 2022. The data provided by the DHS has revealed that 34 percent of these individuals belonged to the following five countries:
- Mexico
- India
- Philippines
- Cuba
- Dominican Republic
The table below will reveal the number of individuals who became the US citizens from each of these countries:
