The University of New South Wales (UNSW), aka UNSW Sydney, is a public research university based in Sydney, Australia. 

Established in 1949, in the 2021 QS World University Rankings, UNSW was ranked #44th in the world, and in the 2021Times Higher Education World University Rankings, it was ranked #67 in the world. It has international exchange and research partnerships with more than 200 universities globally.
