Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) is offered by the University of Cambridge is offered for four years on a full-time basis. An on-campus course, it strengthens students’ ability in analytical, computing, and design skills that are the foundation of modern engineering systems.
In Part I (Years 1 and 2), students get a grasp of engineering fundamentals, facilitating students to choose wisely their specialization from their third year.
Following that, in Part II (Years 3 and 4), they are given detailed training in that professional subject.
Students need to complete an industrial experience of six weeks by the end of the third year. Thereafter, a dedicated industrial placement specialist helps delayed entrants and undergraduates find placements that suit them, both in the UK and other countries, with sponsorship.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Students need to have had mathematics to A-level, Advanced Higher, Higher Level in the IB (40 to 42 points, with 776 at Higher Level), or an equivalent.
- Students must have had A Level/IB Higher Level mathematics, physics, and chemistry.
- Cambridge English: C1 Advanced –with an overall score of at least 193, besides the Language Centre’s assessment.
- Cambridge English: C2 Proficiency – with an overall score of at least 200.
- Students need to have got a minimum score in IELTS or TOEFL or PTE to qualify for this program.
ELIGIBILITY FOR INDIAN STUDENTS:
Students studying Class XII need to attain a high score in relevant subjects.
Students of CISCE and NIOS should have got a minimum of 90% in at least five subjects
- CBSE – Students should have in relevant subjects five or more A1 grades
- State Boards – Students’ grades will be taken into consideration on a case-by-case basis. They need to get at least 95% in a minimum of five relevant subjects.
The following are the levels that need to be achieved by students besides the above performances in Class XII.
- College Board Advanced Placement Tests – Should have achieved grades of at least in five AP Tests

VISA & WORK STUDY
- The UK’s International Student Office provides visa advice on a host of student-related UK immigration issues. Students must have the proper immigration permission that allows them to be in the UK.
- The type of permission they need depends on the course type they plan to study:
- If students are coming for a study course that is below six months, they can enter the UK as short-term students.
- If students want to pursue a study course that is over six months, they need to apply for a student visa to study in the UK.
- Visa application of students depends mainly on the choice of their program, funding resources, following the UKVI rules and regulations to the T, and personal interviews.
UK STUDENT VISAS: TYPES
- Short-term study visa – It is for students who are more than 16 years of age who are enrolling in a six-month short course in an institution in the UK or who are enrolling in an 11-month Language Course in English
- Tier 4 student visa (General) – It is for students who are more than 16 years of age and want to enroll in a course extending beyond six months.
- Tier 4 student visa (child) – It is for students in the age range of four to 17.

WORK STUDY
- The Work-Study Program allows students to work on-campus only if they student are full-time students:
