University College London, known also as UCL, is a public university located in London, United Kingdom. Established in 1826, it was earlier known as London University.

By total acceptance, it is the second-largest university in the United Kingdom. Its main campus is in the Bloomsbury area of London, and there is one each in Archway and Hampstead.
