University College London, also referred to as UCL, is a public research university in London, United Kingdom. Set up in 1826 as London University, it was the first university in London and also in England to admit students, irrespective of their religion.
Its main campus is in the area of Bloomsbury in London. It has many institutes and teaching facilities in London, besides satellite campuses in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, London, and Doha, Qatar.
It is divided into 11 principal faculties, under which more than 100 departments, institutes, and research centers function. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
- Students have at least a second-class bachelor’s degree from a UK university or a foreign qualification that is equivalent to at least three years of full-time work experience.
- A GMAT or GRE, or an equivalent standardized test, is also required. A minimum score of 600 on the GMAT is recommended.
- Students who come from countries where English is not an official language have to submit IELTS or TOEFL scores or other such tests.
Indian Students’ eligibility: Students holding a bachelor’s degree with a minimum CGPA of 6.75/10, or 55% where a GPA scale is not used. The marks required are based on the subject and ranking of the institution where the degree was granted.

- Certificate of Higher Secondary School – A certificate from the education board of higher secondary education.
- Marks Statement – The statement of marks from the education board.
- Letter of Recommendation (LOR) – A letter from the person recommending the student to pursue the degree.
- Statement of Purpose (SOP) – An essay written by the student stating why she/he is applying for this particular course.
- Score showing proficiency in the English language – The score in an exam such as IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE, etc., to show that the student is proficient in the English language.
