THE CAMPUS OF BROWN UNIVERSITY 

The campus of Brown University is located in Eastern Providence. The campus is home to more than 200 buildings including libraries, laboratories, research centers, residential buildings, and Nelson Center for Entrepreneurship, administrative buildings, among others.

ACCOMMODATIONS AT BROWN UNIVERSITY 

All the first-year students and 74% of all undergraduate students are on-campus residents. It is mandatory for all undergraduates to live on-campus for at least six semesters, except students who are married, enrolled in Resumed Education Program, and are living locally with parent(s).

• On the campus are 49 residence halls which are all smoke-free and for both sexes.
• All rooms have the following furniture; bed frame, bookcase, couches, closet, chairs, a desk and desk chair, mattress, a trash can per resident, a Wi-Fi facility, etc.
• Available for graduates are a restricted number of one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments on campus.
• On-campus as well as off-campus residents¸ which include graduate and medical students can avail of Meal Plans.
• University consists of three coffee carts, two all-you-care-to-eat eating rooms, two convenience markets, and four campus restaurants.
• Special Interest housing is also provided on campus for students to live and study with peers having similar interests.
• Undergraduates, after spending more than six semesters and all graduates, can live off-campus by applying for permission.
