- Australian Capital Territory (ACT) nomination program
- South Australia’s Skilled and Business Migration program

Occupation caps for Invitation Rounds
- An ‘Occupation cap’ or ‘Occupation ceiling’ can be applied to invitations issued under independent and skilled regional (provisional) visas.
- There is an upper limit for the number of EOIs that are invited under skilled migration from an occupation group.
- This will make sure that the skilled migration program remains steady and can continue to invite aspiring immigrants across the wide variety of skilled occupations.
- Occupation ceilings or cap values are based on the percentage of stock employment figures for each occupation.
- Based on the Australian Bureau of Statistics employment figures represent the number of people employed in Australia for each occupation.
- The occupation ceilings or the caps do not get applied to the State or Territory Nominated or Business Innovation and Investment subclasses.

The cut-offs and invitation process
- The individuals who obtained a points score and are ranked high will be sent ITA (invited to apply) for the relevant visa.
- If the individuals have the same or the equal number of points scores, then the time when they reached their points score for that particular subclass will determine their order of invitation.
- EOI (Expressions of Interest) will be sent with earlier dates of effect and will be invited before the later dates.
